All parks, recreation and arts indoor facilities are closed until at least April 30, pending future directives from City or Government officials.

Parks are open, please see www.playkettering.org/covid19parks for guidelines to stay safe while playing outside.

Please note that all playgrounds and basketball courts, as well as the Pickleball courts at J.F. Kennedy Park, the Tennis Courts at Ernst Park, the BMX Track and sand volleyball courts at Delco Park and the Rob Dyrdek/DC Skate Plaza in Indian Riffle Park are closed.

The City of Kettering is following guidance from the State of Ohio, Public Health – Dayton and Montgomery County and the U. S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

In response to Governor DeWine’s direction to ban all large gatherings, close schools and limit the close contact of individuals the Kettering Parks, Recreation and Cultural Arts Department is taking the following actions.

  • All parks, recreation and arts indoor facilities are closed until at least April 30, pending future directives from City or Government officials.
  • Registered programs, rentals, events and drop-in activities are canceled until at least April 30, pending future directives from City or Government officials.
    • We plan to make every effort to reschedule programs and events; in the event a program you are enrolled in is canceled, refunds will be automatically processed by our staff and no further action is needed on your part.

  • Kettering Ice Arena – Closed:
    • Programs, drop-in activities and rentals - Canceled
  • Charles I. Lathrem Center – Closed with limited services:
    • Senior transportation services will remain operational

  • Kettering Fitness & Wellness Center – Closed, activities canceled:
