We are celebrating National Park and Recreation Month here in Kettering! Meghan Thomas is a resident and a Parks, Recreation and Cultural Arts superuser! She wrote: “We love Kettering because we LOVE the Parks and Rec program! The rich programming available is a main driving force for our choice to buy a home and raise our son in Kettering. We are often found attending Family Programs, taking classes at Rosewood, running the track at the Rec Center, or soaking up swim lessons or playing on the basketball court. I believe it is very important for my son to be able to engage in programs like sports, outdoor learning and arts – it gives him a chance to test things he might like and for a reasonable fee. I also think it’s important that as adults we continue to learn new skills, meet new people, exercise and get outdoors!”
