At 75 years old, Jackie Ginn faces her share of health challenges including hearing loss, back issues, sciatica and arthritis. But that hasn’t stopped her from working towards her fitness goals at the Kettering Fitness and Wellness Center.
Jackie joined the center just 6 weeks ago, but she’s already seeing major improvements in her strength and mobility. With her sights set on an upcoming trip to Florida and attending the Indy 500, Jackie knew she needed to focus on building up her legs and core.
Working with her trainer Coleton, Jackie follows a customized exercise plan using the center’s equipment to regain strength and independence. Simple tasks like pulling her garbage can to the curb each week are now much easier. “The center is helping me get stronger and regain my mobility,” Jackie says.
Emphasizing the importance of having an experienced trainer, Jackie credits Coleton’s guidance as the key to her progress so far. She recommends personal training to anyone just starting their fitness journey.
Beyond the physical benefits, Jackie also appreciates the wonderful staff and warm environment at the center. As she puts it, “It’s great to have a place to go to see people.”
Jackie visits the center three times a week, consistently working to “keep my body as fit as possible.” Her dedication is truly inspiring. We can’t wait to see what milestones she’ll achieve next!
