Meet Maggie, one of our amazing Kettering Recreation Complex members who’s been inspiring us since April!
Her Journey:
After years of being sidelined by injuries and the beautiful chaos of back-to-back babies, Maggie decided to take a leap of faith. Nervous but determined, she walked into Kevin’s Express HIIT Wednesday Noon class thinking “It’s only 30 minutes – if I hate it, I won’t come back.”
Plot twist: She LOVED it!
What started as one 30-minute class has blossomed into a fitness journey that includes Boot Camp, Zumba, Functional Fitness, and so many more of our group exercise offerings.
The Magic of Community:
“All the instructors I’ve met have been very understanding of my limitations and have provided me with exercise modifications and even taught me exercises to work on at home,” Maggie shares. It’s this personalized attention and encouraging community that keeps her coming back.
Her Goals:
~ Getting back to her pre-pregnancy size and favorite clothes
~ Building strength with every single class
~ Feeling stronger and more confident each day
