Meet Jessica!
Jessica Roller joined our Kettering Fitness team in September 2021, bringing her passion for fitness and dedication to helping others achieve their wellness goals. As one of our valued fitness instructors, Jessica creates energetic and effective workouts that keep our members coming back for more.
Why Fitness?
“Fitness has been such an important aspect of my life, and I wanted to share that with others,” Jessica explains when asked about her inspiration to become an exercise instructor. Her personal connection to wellness shines through in every class she leads.
Teaching Philosophy
Jessica’s favorite part of teaching? “I constantly get to create fun new workouts and routines specially designed to fit my clients’ needs.” This customized approach ensures that everyone in her classes gets the most out of their fitness experience.
When it comes to her ideal students, Jessica appreciates those “willing to try new ways to exercise and not turned off by a challenge.” Her positive encouragement helps members push past their comfort zones to achieve results they never thought possible.
Success Story
Jessica proudly shares: “In the past, I taught an everyday living class designed for patrons who might need adaptable ways to exercise. Many of these patrons struggled with balance, but after spending many weeks in my class, they were all able to balance in yoga postures unassisted. I was so proud of them for being persistent, coming to class, and working through their challenges.”
This dedication to helping members of all abilities succeed is what makes Jessica such a valuable member of our Kettering Fitness family!
Classes Jessica teaches include:
TRX Suspension Training Class
TRX (Total Body Resistance Exercise) is a full-body workout using suspension straps and your own bodyweight to develop strength, balance, flexibility, and core stability simultaneously. The Kettering Recreation Complex offers TRX classes in Studio A, equipped with 19 suspension straps for drop-in classes.
Keiser M3 Indoor Cycle Class
Indoor cycling on Keiser M3 bikes offers a low-impact, high-energy workout where you control the intensity. Adjust your bike’s resistance to simulate climbs, sprints, and flat stretches while focusing on endurance, strength, intervals, and recovery—all controlled by a simple movement of the bike’s shifter lever. Classes are available in Studio C (accommodating up to 24 riders) and Studio A (for smaller classes of up to 12 riders).
