The City of Kettering Parks, Recreation and Cultural Arts Department is excited to announce the 2025 Heritage Tree Program award winners! This celebratory program recognizes exceptional trees that enhance the character and natural landscape of our community, allowing us to appreciate the environmental and aesthetic gifts provided by the remarkable trees around us.
About the Heritage Tree Program
The Heritage Tree Program honors up to 10 outstanding trees each year throughout Kettering’s residential, commercial and public park properties. Trees are selected based on three key criteria:
- Extraordinary Size and/or Age – Trees that score at or above the 50th percentile for their species
