The KRC Indoor Pool & Spa will be closed for seasonal maintenance from Sunday, April 21 at 2 p.m. through Saturday, April 27 at 7 a.m. Pool pass members may use the fitness center facilities free of charge during this time.

Kettering Arts Council Spotlight: Thom Meyer

thom meyerThom Meyer was born in Rochester, New York. He attended college at the University of South Florida, received his Masters from Wright State University, and earned post-grad hours at Miami University. Thom retired after 35 years of teaching Art Photography at Fairmont High School, where he was also the Muse Machine advisor and Art Department Coordinator.

Thom has served on the Kettering Arts Council for several terms over the years. He writes: “Few communities the size of Kettering have such a strong dedication to the arts. I believe that this dedication is a good indicator of this city’s humanity, and I’m happy to be a member of the community.”
