Artist Talks in the Gallery: Reni Gower and Eli Kessler

Kettering Health Art Gallery at Rosewood Arts Center presents Artist Talks Featuring:
Reni Gower: GEOmatrix: The Perfect Proof and Eli Kessler: Structural Deviation

Artists Reni Gower and Eli Kessler will present artist talks at Rosewood Arts Center on Saturday, April 13 at 2 pm. Light refreshments will be served.

Featured solo exhibitions by Gower (Mechanicsville, VA) and Kessler (Kent, OH) explore concepts of technology and design through sculpture and installations. Gower cuts paper to into “perfect” forms to create immersive installations. GEOmatrix creates a space where the viewer experiences luminous and contemplative designs that instill a sense of respite and mindfulness. Kessler’s sculptures explore the history of entertainment, technology, and materiality. His sculptures are created from repurposed objects, steel, carved wood, vinyl, and other mixed media examine particular artifacts, rituals, and cultural phenomena.

The exhibitions conclude on Saturday, April 13th with the artist talks.  Gallery hours are Monday – Thursday, 10 am – 9 pm; Friday 10 am – 5 pm and Saturday, 10 am – 3 pm.
