Shelters #1 & #2
Indian Riffle Park Shelter #1 has electric. Both shelters have 10-15 tables and seat up to 120 people. Chemical toilets (open year-round), permanent restrooms (open seasonally), barbecue grills, a grass volleyball court, playground equipment and a drinking fountain are available nearby. Shelter #2 is the closest to the playground equipment and is wheelchair accessible.
Shelter #3
Indian Riffle Park Shelter #3 has electric, 18 tables and seats up to 175 people. Chemical toilets (open year-round), permanent restrooms (open seasonally), barbecue grills, a grass volleyball court, playground equipment and a drinking fountain are available nearby. Shelters #3 is wheelchair accessible.
Lathrem Garden Plaza Shelter
The Lathrem Garden Shelter has a wood burning fireplace, water access/fountain, electric, 6-8 tables and seats up to 50-75 people. The immediate surrounding area offers a 3-hole putting green, shuffleboard courts and bench overlook swings available for public use. Restrooms can be accessed via the Kettering Recreational Complex during open hours and parking for this shelter is shared with the Adventure Reef Water Park.
Reserve a shelter
Kettering residents may reserve shelters beginning the first work day in January, while non-residents may reserve beginning the first work day in March. Reservations available between April 1 and Oct. 31. Reservations can be made online or by calling 937-296-2454.
