Open year-round, the indoor pool is an 8-lane, 25-yard swimming pool with diving boards. A permanent retractable roof was installed in 2011 improving comfort for pool users year round. The KRC indoor pool hosts many activities ranging from lap swimming and swim lessons to water exercise classes. Adaptive aquatic classes are also offered, and the pool is equipped with a hydraulic chair lift for improved accessibility. The indoor pool is also home to the Tidal Wave Aquatics as well as the Fairmont High School Swim Team. Other year-round amenities include a whirlpool, sauna and steam room.
