Public Art

Welcome to Our City

Public art plays a vital role in shaping vibrant, inclusive, and connected communities. It brings creativity into everyday spaces. In Kettering, public art is more than decoration, it’s a shared experience that enhances the quality of life and builds a stronger sense of community.  Art in our public space offers solutions to the daily stresses in our lives; these works offer a place to connect, reflect, celebrate, and more than anything, engage within our city.

The City of Kettering’s Art in Public Places program commissions and acquires artwork that inspires residents and visitors, celebrating our community's unique character through engaging and diverse public art. Since commissioning its first public artwork in 2000, Kettering has grown its collection to include over two dozen artworks installed across dozens of parks and public facilities throughout the city. As the program continues to grow, Art in Public Places remains committed to connecting people through creativity, supporting artists, and enhancing the cultural landscape of Kettering for generations to come.
