Back for its 37th year, the Art on the Commons Fine Arts and Crafts Festival features approximately 100 artists from around the country. Located in a scenic park within the vibrant Dayton area, the festival's live music and top notch artists make Art on the Commons a destination for several thousand art lovers every year. Art on the Commons is organized by Rosewood Arts Center, a division of the Parks, Recreation and Cultural Arts department of the City of Kettering.

A Showcase of Talent
We’re thrilled to welcome 104 outstanding artists to this year’s Art on the Commons, including our Featured Artist, Carrie Wild!
While you explore the incredible range of artwork on display, don’t forget to cast your vote for the People’s Choice Award. The top three artists will each receive a $100 prize, generously provided by the Joan W. McCoy Memorial Art Fund.
In addition, our on-site jury will present awards for Best of Show, Second Place, Third Place, Best Presentation, and Best of Ohio.

Artist Awards
Vote for your favorite artist at the festival! The top three People's Choice artists will receive $100 prize provided by the Joan W. McCoy Memorial Art Fund. Awards will also be given by our onsite jury for Best of Show, 2nd, 3rd place, Best Presentation and Best of Ohio winners. Ribbons will be presented at the festival beginning at 3 pm and posted on this page following the event.
The WYSO Stage at Art on the Commons
Presented by 91.3 WYSO
Enjoy the best in local music, curated by Juliet Fromholt, WYSO Music Director and host of Alpha Rhythms and Kaleidoscope. Whether you find a shady bench, stretch out on the grass, or bring your own lawn chair, settle in for a day of live performances from some of Southwest Ohio’s most talented musicians.

Directions and Parking
The festival is located at Lincoln Park Civic Commons, adjacent to the Fraze Pavilion. You can use the following address to get to the festival: 675 Lincoln Park Blvd, Kettering, OH 45429.

Bike to AOTC
Ride your bike to Art on the Commons! Bicycle parking is located by the information booth and the entrance to Fraze Pavilion, and representatives from Walk/Bike Kettering will be available to provide information about walking and bicycling in our city!
